Introduction to Enrouteq 💻

Enrouteq is a Swedish company revolutionizing public transport with its data-driven Transit-as-a-Service approach, designed to enhance efficiency, reliability, and accessibility. The organization plays a pivotal role in streamlining data for cities and their authorities, facilitating the sharing of this data with other companies to promote transparency for citizens. Currently, Enrouteq operates across seven countries, with active operations in four.

Enrouteq offers three main tools:

  1. eQconnect®: Focuses on performance monitoring, schedule and block creation, and publishing real-time data to optimize public transport operations.
  2. eQrepository: Serves transit authorities by allowing them to create, manage, import, and export GTFS feeds, streamlining the integration and maintenance of transit data.
  3. eQdata: An analytics tool that provides real-time analytics for cities, helping them understand and optimize their fleet operations.

These tools collectively support the creation of sustainable urban mobility solutions, improving operational efficiencies and passenger experiences in public transit systems.

About Enrouteq in India and it's readiness for ELG (Event Led Growth) 🤔 🇮🇳

Enrouteq entered the indian market in August 2023, since then it has been able to secure 3 pilot projects at Pune, Trivandrum and Davangere. It has also successfully partnered with Google Transit India to publish real-time data of public buses on Google.

  • Market Potential: India represents one of the largest markets for Enrouteq, with ~50,000 buses sold annually and the electric bus segment growing at 15% YoY

  • Urbanization and Public Transport: Rapid urbanization in India increases the demand for efficient public transportation solutions.

  • Existing Challenges: The majority of India’s public transportation, particularly buses, operates with outdated systems and poor data infrastructure, leading to operational inefficiencies and financial losses.

  • Digital Adoption Gaps: While some cities have modern digital systems, about 60% of India's public bus services are still not modernised, lacking real-time data systems like GTFS (General Transit Feed Specification).

With its history of proactive engagement in industry events world-wide, Enrouteq is primed to utilize event-led strategies to expand its influence and introduce its products to a broader markets.
